 For extended scalability
The controller AC 700F, which comes along with a very small footprint, is particularly suitable for small applications consisting of 16 to 256 I/Os. The CPU module is equipped with a front panel display for easy diagnosis, an Ethernet port for connection to the control network, and two serial ports for MODBUS and extended diagnostic reasons.
Up to 8 local S700 I/O modules can be directly plugged to the right side of the CPU module. The usage of these modules is very flexible, as you can choose the function of a channel, depending on the type of module. This feature allows reducing the number of modules to the minimum. Together with the advantages of Ethernet AC 700F can be placed directly in the field where needed as competitive, intelligent network I/O.
